1st Corinthians 3:9… We are God’s workers…

Clear Dome Ministry is celebrating 25 years of counseling; speaking, Missions trips; outreach and recruitments and empowerment back to God’s word. All these years we have not advertized; yet God brought everyone here by word of mouth. People come to CDM needing encouragement, spiritual growth, interventions, prayer, and needing change in their lives.

In another newsletter I will reminisce how God has provided for every need of this ministry to the tune of keeping updated with technology and even now we are on the web. Check us out www.cleardomeministry.com.  How awesome is that. It has been and continues to be a gratifying experience.

Through the summer months we have dealt with addictions, domestic abuse, separations, divorces, fears, loss, and mentoring to those who just want someone to listen; and speaking engagements, even a wedding for one of my spiritual daughters.

Then there is Women’s Ministries International of which I am President of our Northern area since 2003. I’ve been involved in some type of leadership position with WMI since 1997 and really combined everything in 2012 thanks to our gracious Superintendent, Mark Adams. That includes newsletters etc…This is a missions outreach catering to the needs around the world. Our Missionaries tell us what they need to teach and prosper the poor, so these victims can support themselves and their families. It’s the same in this country isn’t it?

Our WMI General President, LaWanda Bullock came and shared with a group of Pastors wives during our denominations annual conference this past June. We were led through a video segment of women who are widows and needed to learn some type of trade. One of the trades was jewelry making. There were some beautiful designs that were being sold and the monies turned back to the women to support their families that came to the total of over $500. These are called special projects. It is incredible to see what can be taught with so little.CDM coordinated this Pastors wives retreat and we believe it was very successful and gave me a chance to get to know our global leader which was a joy. The glory goes to our Lord for His provision for this conference. Our West District supplied the music and we were so grateful for them coming several hundred miles just to serve our Lord. My secretary who supports my every need is such a delight and keeps me on track and focused. God truly blessed me with her.

Everything we do is missions. When there is s need to go into the field to counsel or meet a person at the point of their need that is what missions is. I am humbled at the opportunity God has given me to serve.

Have you noticed that we have a society of young people who feel entitled? They have a hard time understanding compassion. 1 Thes 5: 11. What would we do without electricity? How would we handle a 130 degree heat like in Iraq and elsewhere without air conditioning? Or what about a heated home in the winter? Then there is the job situation. McDonald’s employees’ went on strike because they thought they should be earning $15 an hour rather than minimum wage. My husband doesn’t even make that much. Did you know minimum wage is $1 an hour in Hungary? Teachers there earn about $400 per month. What about the ability to choose where we buy groceries.

We have unending choices to decide what we want whether it is food or other items. Entitlement!! These people live in third world countries. Did you know that in Hungary people have to show their I.D. to go from county to county? Plus you have to have a good reason for traveling elsewhere. If the authorities don’t like your reason you could be charged and arrested. Do we have those kinds of difficulties? Women give up their children because they cannot support them. Yet we complain about every little inconvenience. We have food pantries, government subsidized programs to receive help. They do not.

Look at the warring nations whose people don’t even have a place to lay their heads. John 12:42 Many believe, but out of fear, do not confess it. These are the things our children/adults need to be learning and recognize how blessed they are, we have an entitlement society. Scary isn’t it? How about our lukewarm Christianity? Does God take vacations? Rom 15: 5-6. (Unify among ourselves…). He is there 24/7…Would we make ourselves available any time of day or night? We need to urgently pray and be grateful for what God has given us.  Ps 51: 11 Create in US a clean heart…Are we praying for the salvations of the insurgents and ISIS? Do we think often about praying for our soldiers on the front lines or only when we are involved with them personally?

What about our living conditions? The average family has a home, cars, not just one car but several (entitlement?) hmm. While others live in cardboard boxes; yes even in our country; overseas many live in tents or refugee camps. Our families are not being bombed losing everything. Let us be grateful for the fine country we live in. We have a Military that will volunteer to sacrifice their lives to keep us free from war on our land. We take all that for granted and complain about the little things. Prayer is of the essence. Support our Missions and projects. Understand that we all work together as a team and can accomplish a lot.
