2Cor 3:17 ….where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.
People come to Clear Dome Ministry just for that purpose of getting free from the past. God says to get rid of all the past and forgive those who have hurt us. If we don’t then we’ll not be forgiven either. Eph 4:31-32 many come here to deal with the vengeance that they want to pursue. I show them the truth through the word that only God can get vengeance we only have one choice and that is to forgive.
If you look at the Lord’s Prayer which many of us know by heart, it talks about forgiveness. However, we recite the prayer so quickly we don’t even think about what it says. Forgive us AS WE FORGIVE THOSE who has caused all the pain.
Satan allows us to keep the past in our subconscious as it sits there and festers. It builds the resentments, bitterroots, often time condemnation, and self loathing; all because we have kept it internally all those many years. This is why so many people get addicted to so many things such as drugs, alcohol, shopping, hording, sexual addictions, porn.etc…What needs to happen is to get the pain out and ask forgiveness for harboring all that garbage within us. Then talk about it with a counselor, preferably at CDM. However, go wherever God leads you for healing. I am here to do the pushing not the counseling that is what God does for his people.
It’s been a very unusual year. I am so blessed to be alive after six months of pneumonia. I still was able to do ministry mostly by phone. All we needed was a Bible. God is amazing. Satan could not win and close CDM even when we flooded with ten inches of water and mud. The Red Cross came in and a farmer friend and a home contractor put a lot of sweat into getting rid of the ruins. God always intervenes. Plus another dear friend helped with finances. Everyone gave freely of their time and I am so grateful to each of them who were involved and some still are as there is dry wall to work with when the men are available.
I have an office to work out of and we even have heaters after all the others were ruined. I praise God for His provisions.
I had several speaking engagements even while I was sick God gave me the strength to proceed. I spoke at Zion Church’s elders group. The Highlight was at the Memorial Day festivities when I spoke from the Court House steps sharing my Holocaust story and how God was involved in all of it. I also was given the privilege to speak at the World Day of Prayer sharing the abortion issues and how grateful I was to not have been aborted through those holocaust times. If you need a speaker I am available; see the web for more information.
Then there is Olive Branch Homeless Mission. We went five times to drop off much needed items for their people and also for Africa. There is a delegation that comes to America for meetings with our Administrative staff to discuss the Mission and also the Hope Africa project and college. At one trip I even took a U-haul trailer filled to the brim with many needed electronics etc…
However, due to illness and lack of funds for fuel; I retired from taking things to the Mission several times per year and will only take things during the Christmas Holidays. I also resigned from the North Central Conference/Presidency of the Free Methodist Women’s Ministries International (WMI) working for 19 years in that capacity. I have traveled many States and was involved in many group conferences. I met a plethora of wonderful ministry people from the mission fields. It has been a learning experience and a joy to share all these wonderful years with the Conference families. But I am still keeping my feet in the water. I am local President of the Freeport Free Methodist WMI. We may be few but are mighty.
I am so awed and grateful how God has and continues to use so many people to bless CDM whether financially and prayerfully and physically. I just praise God for all the Advocates He has supplied for me. I thank you and really appreciate all your support. Our financial records are open to the public. Please keep us in prayer and let’s see how God moves the ministry in 2018. God bless you.
